Item Info
This giant-size cookie cutter can be used for much more than standard cookie baking, although its giant 4-inch width is certainly perfect for occasions when you want to wow your guests with The Big Cookie. The stainless-steel sides are sturdy enough to make great stencils for the kids, as well as molds for Jello or even homemade soap or candles. The squishy rubber gripper is helpful for folks with arthritis or carpal tunnel, and it's easier for small hands to grip (though the giant size may be tricky for very young kids). Perfect for valentines or wedding decorations, this old-fashioned heart is just waiting for your handwritten message. --Jill Lightner

Love these Ruber Grip Cookie cutters. Very easy to handle. I used them for a football banquet. Very cute decorated with each players number. Many compliments!

Quick disclaimer: I'm not a Wilton brand lover. They have a whole following, and there are products I like, and products I don't. Every time I read a overly positive review, though, I wonder if they're part of the cult of Wilton. I'm not. :)So! This is a solid product. I really like the shape (the football shape at first seems a bit limiting, but is surprisingly versatile: footballs, lemons, funny faces...), but whether you like the shape is up to you. The neat things are:This is a really good cookie size. Some of the other comfort grip cutters are so big that I have to get stingy with the cookies. (No, son, take ONE!) This one is more moderate in size. The football shape lends itself very well to getting the maximum cuts out of a rolled dough without having to re-roll it alot. Wonderful! The comfort grip is great for repetitive cutting, without the cut back you can sometimes get from all metal cutters.Little hands (5 year old) can manipulate it well.It could cut relatively thick things. The brightly colored ridge makes it easy for the kids to see the shapes at a glance and what they're supposed to be. It's like a bold lined outline, if that makes any sense? The one con I can think of is that I can't toss it into the oven to dry it thoroughly, because of the comfort cutter grip.
