Sister loves this thing. Do not press too hard, as the metal is somewhat flimsy. However, so long as the dough is soft and warm, you should have no difficulties using this product.One other note, while cookies do not retain their New Jersey shape, this product can be useful for cutting soft fudge or cookie dough to place on top of birthday cakes, for example. Still worth it.
