Used this for my first try at petits fours...worked great. I used a 1/2 sheet pan almond cake, used the heart shaped cutter, dipped my cakes in pink glaze and had perfect petit fours for valentines. This is an "add on" for Amazon...add to an order and no shipping charges!

This is made for petit fours. Sure, some people use them as cookie cutters or for other purposes, but mainly it's made for cake. I have had issues with it sticking a little to the cake, depending on what I'm cooking. You can dab a bit of nonstick spray on the inside with a finger if it's an issue. Even dip it in powdered sugar as you would a cookie cutter. But overall I'm very pleased with the size of it, and it has made cutting petit fours so easy that I do it a lot more often, now. We prefer that to just regular cake.
